The Shri Dakshinamoorthy Education Foundation was born out of a deep belief that every child deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential. Established in 2014, the Foundation aims to bridge the educational divide in rural areas by ensuring that deserving students are not deprived of learning opportunities due to financial constraints.
Our mission is to identify individual needs and build a strong support system around each student. This includes deploying qualified teachers, providing academic and personal counselling, supporting educational and training expenses, and organizing initiatives such as study tours and yoga camps to promote holistic development.
We have established training centres in Karwar - Karnataka, Tiruvannamalai - Tamil Nadu, and plan to expand to other regions based on emerging needs.
The Foundation’s vision is guided by its founder, Mr. Muthukumar Balasubramanian, who recognized that meaningful and lasting change requires more than just infrastructure. It calls for nurturing the entire educational ecosystem—empowering teachers and providing students with comprehensive support both inside and outside the classroom.
We believe in focusing on overall development of children and keeping pace with dynamic change by creating a collaborative environment for all including students, parents, and teachers with the aim to excel, primarily focusing on girl children.
We want our learners to be life long learners. We want to reach the remotest area where no child is denied education. Children will be provided with essential educational qualifications. We will also provide them skills needed for the 21st century such as soft skills, mindfulness, sports, art, craft and many more.
